ABOUT ME
Most folks in tech have some sort of site with their name followed by "codes" or .dev, but I chose a different route.
For one, I had this silly domain name that I purchased a number of years ago that I needed to use for something (it's from a song lyric that just hit at the time, ya know?)
But the main reason is that I don't want my identity to only be tied to what my current role or title is.
I want to be able to write about things, all the different things, that interest me: art I make, trips I take, or tech-adjacent things I care about like mentorship or leading teams.
I'm not just a software engineer; my identity is more than what I do for work. I don't want my blog to be centered around one piece of me.
Could I use social media for this? Sure. But I'd rather have a space of my own independent of an algorithm.
So, welcome to my little corner of space in the vastness that is the internet; I hope you find something interesting here.
Thanks for stopping by.
